Dan is a passionate advocate for the planting of trees and the restoration of the right-of-way in the village. He has led the planting of thousands of trees in the village since the October 2006 storm.

Trustee Duquin is a life-long resident of Williamsville (14221) and a homeowner in the Village of Williamsville for the last 7 years, where he lives with his wife Anne Marie and 3 children. Duquin is a graduate of Williamsville South High School, Canisius College with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies and Christ the King Seminary where he earned a Master of Theology. Duquin worked for the Central Staff of the Erie County Legislature between 2001 and 2005, where he clerked the Finance and Management Committee, Personnel Committee and Government Studies Committee. Duquin served as Chairman of the Finance and Management Committee of the Erie County Charter Review Commission. Duquin was the founder of the Village of Williamsville Citizen Study Group, which took on the task of providing factual information for residents considering the proposed dissolution of the Village of Williamsville.

Trustee Yates is a seven year resident of the Village, where he lives with his wife, Julie Merlo Yates, a lifelong resident of the Village. He has served as the Acting Chairman to the Taste of Williamsville for five years along with serving on the Village Preservation Foundation. The Foundation is responsible for the planting of the potted flowers along Main Street. This year he was appointed Treasurer of the Board. He and his wife jointly served on the Picture Main Street committee this past year. Mr. Yates holds a bachelor degree in Biology with a minor in Environmental Science and Chemistry. He currently is employed by the Dutch instrument manufacturer Skalar Analytical as a Regional Sales Manager. As a Trustee, his plan is to continue to implement the plans of the Picture Main Street initiative and the upcoming repurposing of our Mill. He is also very interested in finding ways to make our village a green village with creative avenues using various new technologies that could also save the village money.

Basil was elected Village Mayor in 1995. He served two terms. He was re-elected to the Village Board and has served as a Trustee since 2005.

Brian was elected Mayor of the Village of Williamsville in 2011 after four years serving as a Village Trustee and he was re-elected in 2015. He is an architect and urban planner at the Clark Patterson Lee design firm in Buffalo and is a graduate of the University at Buffalo with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning. Brian is the President of the Erie County Village Officials Association and the former President of the Association of Erie County Governments.
